Welcome the festive season with this jingle bell cranberry paloma. Silver tequila mixed with remaining cranberry sauce, lemon juice, grapefruit juice juice, topped with ginger beer ... a touch of sweetness, spices, and a bit of champagne too! It's the fastest cocktail to mix with, but it's a cocktail that everyone always loves. Perfect for a cold winter's night near the fire, or make it by pitcher for your holiday party. Bonus this will consume any of that cranberry sauce in the fridge!

It is the last day of November, but the first day of HBH is "drinking Christmas on Saturday." It's crazy to share these vacation cocktails four years ago. Do you remember the first Christmas drink you shared?

My Arctic Cocktail has been and remains to this day a personal favorite drink that I have shared with you. It also happens to be among the top 20 best recipes ever. I really can't figure out why it's so incredibly popular, but it was the cocktail that started my love for mixing up my family's enjoyable drinks during the holidays.

I say this all the time, but these festive recipes are my favorite. I have a lot of fun which makes them so special ... but keep them simple. Because the truth is, I'm not a mixing specialist. I just make what my family loves and what I enjoy creating!

Anyway, just a fun little background story about "Christmas Drinking Saturday" for you. I'm excited to start the series today with the festive Paloma. As always with this Saturday cocktail post, I'll keep it short and cute, so ...

Details here ...

In short, this cocktail is sweet, spicy, and everything is beautiful ...

Very cheesy, but real. The drink base is made using cranberry sauce. I discovered after a turkey dinner on Thursday that many would likely send cranberry sauce in the fridge today. Do you? Personally, I always have a lot of leftovers anytime I make a new set, and this year I use the remainder of this cocktail. If you don't have any raspberry sauce on hand, no problem, you can also use cranberry jam easily.

Then mix the cranberry sauce with fresh lemon juice, grapefruit juice and silver tequila. I do all this at the bottom of a cocktail cup, then stir the mixture. Finally, have every drink with ginger beer, my cocktail mixer.

A little tip for the vacation ...

During the holiday season, always keep the basic needs of some good cocktails. For me, I keep bourbon, vodka and tequila stored at this time of year. This is the alcohol my family chooses.

Then I always have pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and ginger beer in the fridge, because these are the mixers I choose. You never know when you'll need to mix a quick drink ... it's always good to be prepared!

Make the cocktail more beautiful ...

For a sweet and festive touch, I love the sugarcorn finishing finish. Totally optional, but they add a nice "luster" to every drink. I make my own using maple syrup instead of just sugar. Maple syrup provides a delicious flavor and makes this festive cranberry very easy.

The best part about this drink? It only takes a few minutes, but it always turns out to look impressive and very beautiful with its dark red color. I am already planning a ramie version during this Christmas holidays. My family didn't get any Thanksgiving cocktails because we spent them away. To make up for it, I will make these Palomas over Christmas. This drink made my list "We must make it again".

it is delicious.
