Ingredients
Chicken thighs 4-5 pieces
Buttermilk 100ml
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
Red Chilli flakes 1 tsp
garlic powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
cumin powder 1 tsp
paprika powder 1/2 tbsp
Food color 1 pinch (optional )
All-purpose flour (maida)
Water as required
Beaten egg
Breadcrumbs
mozzarella cheese block Sliced
oil for fry
Burger Buns 4-5
Butter
mayonnaise
Cheddar Cheese Slice
lettuce
Instructions:
Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or heavy bottomed pot to 350°F (180°C).
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and water.
In a third shallow dish, add the panko bread crumbs.
Dredge each chicken breast fillet in the flour mixture, then dip it into the egg mixture, and coat it with the bread crumbs.
Fry the chicken fillets for 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Toast the burger buns.
Spread the mayonnaise on the bottom half of the burger buns.
Add a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on top of the mayonnaise.
Place a chicken fillet on top of the tomato slice.
Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the chicken fillet.
Cover with the top half of the burger bun.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
