recipe for Garlic Parmesan Fries topped with Boneless Chicken Wings, Marinara Sauce, and Melted Mozzarella Cheese This recipe is an all-time favorite with my family and will be with yours, too
Ingredients:
For the Garlic Parmesan Fries:
4 medium-sized russet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Boneless Chicken Wings:
1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
1 cup panko bread crumbs
Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Marinara Sauce:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Melted Mozzarella Cheese:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
To make the Garlic Parmesan Fries, wash and cut the potatoes into thin slices. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Add the sliced potatoes to the bowl and toss to coat.
Arrange the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through the baking time, until they are golden brown and crispy.
To make the Boneless Chicken Wings, in a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. In another shallow bowl, beat the egg.
Dip the chicken pieces into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally into the panko bread crumbs.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the chicken pieces from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate.
To make the Marinara Sauce, heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the crushed tomatoes, sugar, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Stir to combine and bring the sauce to a simmer. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes until the flavors meld together.
To assemble the dish, place the Garlic Parmesan Fries on a large serving platter. Top with the Boneless Chicken Wings and spoon the Marinara Sauce over the chicken. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
Place the platter in the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot and enjoy!
