These Juicy Grilled Pork Chops are full of flavor and perfectly charred. They’re soaked in a simple brown sugar rub to add a touch of sweetness.
Ingredients
4 bone-in pork chops
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika, sweet or smoked
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Pat dry pork chops with paper towels.
Brush pork chops with olive oil; set aside.
In a small mixing bowl, stir together brown sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder.
Rub the dry mix all over the pork chops. Transfer pork chops to a resealable bag or mixing bowl; cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, and up to 24 hours.
Preheat an outdoor grill to 400˚F – about medium to medium-high. Rub your grill grates with oil.
Remove pork chops from bag. Spray with cooking spray or add a drizzle of olive oil.
Transfer pork chops to grill; grill, covered, for 7 to 10 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 145˚F. Do not overcook.
Please use an instant read thermometer to check for doneness. Thicker pork chops will need longer to cook.
Remove from grill; let stand 5 minutes.
Serve.
