This delicious and hearty buffalo chicken pasta is a scrumptious pasta recipe with deliciously seasoned chicken in a creamy buffalo sauce, cheese and penne pasta. So good.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 onion
2 Tablespoons butter
1 ounce dry ranch seasoning
1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama™
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
8 ounce cream cheese, cubed
1 cup buffalo sauce
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups sharp cheddar, grated
16 ounce box penne pasta
Instructions
In a large skillet or frying pan, over medium heat, melt butter, then add chicken and onion.
Cook until chicken is no longer pink and reaches 165°.
While chicken is cooking, cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Sprinkle dry ranch seasoning, garlic salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and Slap Ya Mama™ over cooked chicken and onions, stir to combine.
Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
Pour buffalo sauce, chicken broth and heavy cream over chicken mixture, stir, bring to a boil.
Add sharp cheddar cheese, stir until melted.
Remove from heat, serve hot.
Optional; garnish with green onions, extra shredded cheese, sour cream.
