Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta is a creamy and delicious pasta dish that is loaded with tender chicken, bacon, spinach, and ranch seasoning.
Ingredients
For the Chicken
3 chicken breasts, boneless skinless, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® Seasoning
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons dry ranch seasoning
For the Creamy Sauce
1 cup low sodium chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup Parmesan cheese
¼ cup dry ranch seasoning
6 ounce bag fresh baby spinach
16 ounce medium pasta shells
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
12 ounce package bacon
1 cup grape tomatoes, cut in half
Optional, garnish with fresh parsley and sliced green onions
Instructions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over medium heat and cook pasta according to package directions for al dente. Rinse and set aside.
Fry bacon in a large frying pan until crispy. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Once cool enough to handle, break into coarse crumbles. Set aside.
For the Chicken
Beat chicken to desired thickness, cut into 1-inch pieces, and season with garlic salt, pepper, Slap Ya Mama, paprika, and dry ranch seasoning.
In a large pan, melt butter. Place seasoned chicken breast pieces in pan and cook for 7-9 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked through.
Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
For the Creamy Sauce
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the same pan and add onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.
Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and sprinkle with dry ranch seasoning. Add sharp cheddar, white cheddar, and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with Slap Ya Mama, paprika, and garlic salt.
Stir to mix well. Let come to a boil, reduce heat, and let simmer. Add in spinach and let simmer for another 4-5 minutes.
Add pasta and stir.
Add in cut up chicken, bacon crumbles and tomatoes. Stir to combine, top with sliced green onions, optional, and serve.
