GRANNY’S HOMEMADE CAKE


Ingredients :

3 large or 4 medium eggs

1 lemon yogurt

Sugar (2 measures of yogurt)

Flour (3 measures of yogurt)

Sunflower oil or olive oil (1 measure of yogurt)

1 sachet of baking powder (16 g of baking powder)

Lemon zest

Butter and flour (to spread the mold)

Iced sugar to decorate (optional)

Preparation :

We heat the oven to 150°.

We beat the eggs and add the sugar, yogurt, sunflower oil and lemon zest (without the white part, as it would be bitter). We combine the flour with the yeast, add to the previous mixture and beat well.

Grease a mold with butter, sprinkle with flour and shake off the excess. Pour the mixture into the mold. If we want the yeast to have a better effect, let the dough rest for 15 minutes before putting it in the oven. We cook. It will be ready when it is pricked with a toothpick it comes out clean (I don't give the time because each oven is different).

Takeaway and takeaway. Unmold by passing a knife around the edges of the mold. It can be decorated with icing sugar.
